New Release: openfunds Field List Version 2.12.0

We’re pleased to announce the release of openfunds Field List Version 2.12.0, marking another important milestone in global fund data standardisation.

This version reflects key industry developments and community feedback, with updates including:

  • New ESG field aligned with the AMAS self-regulation framework for Swiss sustainable fund disclosure.
  • ACT Framework fields for signatory status and verification year.
  • Minor Currencies (GBX, USX, EUX) added for more accurate dynamic data representation.
  • Deprecation of SRRI fields, ensuring alignment with current PRIIPs SRI requirements.

Each update represents the collaborative work of our active member community and working groups, ensuring openfunds evolves in line with real-world regulatory and operational needs.

New Members joining the openfunds community

We’re delighted to welcome several new organisations and leaders who share our mission of improving data standards across the investment industry.

  • FundSense brings deep expertise in fund data automation and reporting. Their insights strengthen our collective effort to drive efficiency and data consistency across the value chain, and it’s great to see them joining as an Active Member to openfunds.
  • Kore Labs joins as an Active Member, contributing their knowledge in product governance and taxonomy through initiatives such as WikiKore. Their participation underscores the growing link between data transparency, governance, and innovation

We also welcome Wiktoria Kir as a new board member. With over a decade of experience at FE fundinfo and an instrumental role in developing openfunds-native databases, Wiktoria brings invaluable expertise in fund data validation and consistency. Her perspective will help guide the standard’s continued growth.

New: openfunds Round Tables

To further strengthen engagement within our community, we have recently introduced openfunds Round Tables – interactive online sessions held every 6–8 weeks. These gatherings offer active members a regular opportunity to:

  • stay informed on recent updates and upcoming initiatives,
  • share feedback and suggestions directly with the openfunds team, and
  • connect with peers across the fund data ecosystem.

The round tables are serving as a dynamic forum for collaboration – helping ensure that openfunds continues to evolve with the needs of the industry.

We at openfunds are excited to build on the current momentum and look forward to organizing some further events in the near future. If you haven’t done so yet, subscribe to our newsletter here or follow us on LinkedIn.
